MUSIC DEVELOPMENT FUNDING PLAN

PURPOSE - To provide various opportunities for musicians to fund various projects to develop their craft.

EXECUTION - Approvals will be decided four times a year with a 90-day window for Artists to submit projects for funding.

APPROVAL DATES - October 31, 2020 / January 31, 2021 / April 2021 / July 31, 2021

Three Song Demo – Up to $1,200
Tour Support – Up to $3,000
Artist Development – Up to $1,200
Showcase Production – Up to $3,000
Four Online Software Use (example) Pro-Tools - Online Subscription $Basic
Radio Marketing – Up to $1,200
Digital Marketing – Up to $1,200

SUBMISSIONS - Each program applied for has its own application and submissions would be due 15 days prior to the submission closing date. Approval of submissions will be approved within 1 month of the closing date..

FUNDING SUBMISSIONS - Submissions would be promoted through our website, education facilities and social media outlets.

TO QUALIFY - Must be a Member of the The Collective Music Nation Inc. and submit a valid application.

TIMELINE OF EXECUTION - Always a 90-day window.

COSTS PAID BY MDFP - Here are our % of costs coverage for each Program:

•Three Song Demo – 50% of cost of Studio – Total 12 hours

•Tour Support – 100% of the cost – would be part of our Canadian Tour

•Artist Craft Development – 100% of cost through Mentor program

•Showcase Production – 75% of cost

•Four Online Software Use (example) Pro-Tools / Cubase – 100% of the subscriptions.

•Radio Marketing – 100% Radio Tracking

•Digital Marketing – 100% Social Media presence
