COLLECTIVE MUSIC NATION

Educational Programs

CMN is dedicated to educating and inspiring Black and Indigenous youth in Canada. Our focus is in music, creative arts and culture. Through our initiatives we hope to better prepare these young artists for a life in the creative arts. How do we do this?

CMN will host a series of workshops across Canada. These workshops will range in focus from music production to songwriting, streaming, digital software, music business and entrepreneurship. A panel of selected industry professionals will share their knowledge and life experience while educating all participants. We hope that through these workshops’ participants will be inspired to further their education through post-secondary school and community involvement and also help them take their careers to the next level.

Who will benefit?

These workshops are designed for Black and Indigenous youth and young adults. Whether located near our head office in Toronto or elsewhere in Canada, we will customize these workshops to be accessible, if you are not able to attend one in your region, we will utilize all online streaming platforms and create a library of educational information.
